30.07.2020
Ford Sollers will supply 54 class “B” ambulances based on Ford Transit to Tatarstan hospitals by order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan. The order was completed within the framework of the ambulance station fleet renewal program, the cars will be distributed to the cities and regional centers of the Republic.Ford Sollers and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan have a long-term relationship, during which the ambulances based on Ford Transit have proven themselves to be excellent. The first order from the Ministry came in 2012, and over the past 3 years, Ford Sollers has produced about 300 ambulances for the needs of the region. The choice in favor of Ford Transit was dictated by the high reliability of the vehicles, their full adaptation to operation in Russian conditions, the possibility of equipping in accordance with the requirements and needs of the customer, as well as the low cost of service and the presence of a developed dealer network with a high level of service.
The cars are produced on the basis of a front-wheel drive all-metal Ford Transit van with a long wheelbase, a 2.2 L (125 hp) diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.
