The Chinese companies visited SEZ «Alabuga» within the framework of the business forum «ROSTKI»

Chinese guests were fascinated by the Alabuga Polytech educational center.

Today, September 6, the special economic zone «Alabuga» was visited by representatives of companies from China: China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Daqo Group Co, Xiamen Kingland Co, ZHEJIANG CUNFU IMPORT&EXPORT Co, Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co within the framework of the largest international forum «Russia – China».

The guests visited the resident plant «August Alabuga», where they got acquainted with the production of polymer containers and plant protection products, as well as the scientific laboratory and the arrangement of the warehouse of finished products.

Afterwards, the delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure of the special economic zone, in particular, the representatives of the companies were interested in the terms of leasing production space for Alabuga residents, and also visited the Alabuga Polytech laboratories, which implements a dual training program. As a result, graduates become highly qualified and in-demand specialists in the labor market with work experience behind them.

As a reminder, Alabuga is the No. 1 special economic zone in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner that provides the best engineering, construction, logistics, human resources and social infrastructure. The SEZ hosts more than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities that are leaders in their respective industries. The total amount of private investment is 163.9 billion rubles, more than 12 thousand jobs have been created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 amounted to 138 billion rubles.

As a reminder, «August-Alabuga» started its work in the SEZ in 2016. The enterprise specializes in the production of liquid preparative forms of pesticides. The plant is able to provide products for one third of the Russian market in its niche.
